Good-sized and luxury room with beautiful view, the staff was attentive. The location was amazing, not far from the waterfall and the Lesotho mountains and the most beautiful gardens.

The recently refurbished family chalets at Magoebaskloof Hotel are absolutely fantastic! The self-catering kitchens have everything you need, and the hotel type units are so convenient. I loved how modern and comfortable the rooms were, making our stay truly enjoyable.
Personally, I found one feature less appealing. But please note that this is just my subjective opinion.

When I am in Tzaneen, I like staying here. Its staff are genuinely helpful and well-trained, I liked it. The hotel's location is perfect and exceptionally nice, short walk to Magoebaskloof, a forest and hike. There's a cozy bar at the property.

The hotel was beautiful old and newly renovated, but I stayed for 1 night only. My room included TV set with satellite channels, central heating, and an individual safe. The view of garden was stunningly beautiful. The location was stunning and excellent for Tzaneen, close enough to many attractions, hiking on Saturday, and the beautiful Magoebaskloof valley. Also, Blueberry Heights Farm was 2 miles away. I had a perfectly pleasant stay.

our Stay: The rooms, views, and surroundings were absolutely mind-blowing. The receptionist, Rosemary, went above and beyond by alerting us about the iPad we left behind and ensuring it was kept safe. The hotel's environment is jaw-dropping and the employees are super wonderful. We loved the well-maintained and comfortable facilities, as well as the great bar. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the clean mountain air added to the overall amazing experience. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the tranquil beauty of the surroundings. This was a truly unforgettable stay.

Magnificent views. Very friendly, well trained and obliging staff.
Initially the room we were allocated smelt very badly of smoke. We complained and were given another room, which was very clean and much bigger and better.

Had a great time at the hotel! the views were stunning, especially while dining on the balcony, and the short hike to the waterfall was a must-see. the location was key, with easy access to Johannesburg airport and Kruger National Park. Enjoyed the prepaid evening meal with a vast selection. We also appreciated the lovely pool area and comfortable rooms.
Despite the fantastic location, the hotel had some negative aspects. the rooms were quite dated, with damp walls and old towels that needed changing.
